Ashkenazy's masterfully exciting story full of fantasy and humor about a dwarf who is plucked out of a children's book by a goose is accompanied by unique illustrations by Helena Zmatlíková. Children, but also adults, will fall in love with Pitrýsk on his travels around the world, in which he longs to find a kindred spirit. He befriends the taxi driver Heart, becomes an actor, falls in love with Princess Pippin, reigns in the African kingdom of Bambuti, the stork takes him to Denmark, where he can chat with the storyteller Andersen, takes us through the kingdom of the dwarfs and who knows what else he will experience and how it will all end .
