Wooden folding blocks with pictures used to be a popular toy as early as the 19th century, then in the 20th century there was a great boom in production and almost every one of us remembers them from childhood. Cubes still have their charm, and because they teach the little ones to think logically, they should not be missing from any toy kit of three- to four-year-old children. In connection with Jiří Trnka's favorite pictures, they become a really valuable toy and can be a beautiful addition to Trnka's book The Garden.
