Twenty-six-year-old Émil has only two years left to live and he knows it. Doctors have pronounced him premature Alzheimer's disease, and he wishes for only one thing: to escape from the hospital and the pity of his family and friends, to go on a journey and stay on it until his last breath. He is looking for someone to accompany him on the ad.

To his own surprise, he gets an answer and meets the mysterious Joanne, a young woman who is in no rush to explain what she herself is running from.
