The fate of the chocolate dynasty

Hamburg, 1919. Wartime events upset the plans of the Hannemann family, who had been cocoa importers for several generations and owned the company Hannemann & Tietz. Young, enterprising and passionate, Frieda, the second child of the family, manages to take over the management of the company instead of her irresponsible brother. Of course, only after she has demonstrated her remarkable entrepreneurial skills in a new business - the production of chocolate delicacies - despite the mistrust of her mother and the circle of wealthy cocoa merchants in the city.

Although Frieda spends her time studying and making new recipes, her family wants her to marry a man who is in control and who would be able to put the company's books back in order. But the girl's heart already belongs to someone else.

The only way to not say goodbye to happiness and accept the fate that others have chosen for her is to focus on her culinary experiments to prevent the collapse of Hannemann & Tietz in the difficult post-war period.
