The novel Vertigo takes place in the nineties of the twentieth century. The author presents that time with colloquial language, sarcasm and helplessness, general disillusionment - somewhere on the border of all this, the story of the main character Dušan is born. He is coming of age at a time when years of possibilities, privatization, but also years of bankruptcies and personal tragedies fly around him. Seventeen-year-old Dušan lives his slow life in this post-revolutionary madness, in which both hormones and parents' misunderstanding fight for his place in the sun. Somewhere in the middle of wandering around the world, drinking beer, listening to music, catching fish with a bag and watching her classmates, the first great love is born. But she - as is the case with such loves - is like a comet: it shines, dazzles, causes dizziness, vertigo. And then she disappears to leave the door open to the world of adulthood
