The author's team composed of important Czech historians presents a new extensive processing of our history, whose complete announcement of the Czech nation is still missing. The monumental, the first Czech history of such a scope is published in eighteen volumes. The authors, although they have the highest professional ambitions, turn primarily to a wider reading community, which will serve as a reliable source of knowledge of our history as a picture of the current level of Czech historiography. The individual volumes are equipped with a basic note apparatus, a thorough bibliography, rich image and documentation material and registers.
