The brutally beaten and dismembered body of a young girl is found in Holice. The investigation is taken over by the efficient and purposeful Commissioner Laura Linhart, not very popular among her co-workers, together with her new colleague Adam Beneš. A recently convicted murderer who is guilty of a similar murder becomes the prime suspect. Although the similarities between the two cases are unmistakable, it soon becomes clear that the similarity is only apparent. An unknown killer number two appears on the scene and a pair of criminal investigators embark on a complicated investigation full of unexpected revelations.
