The heroine of the book is a young artist Peter, who is tormenting balancing between the desire for artistic application and rejection of everything related to her initial life choice. As sharply cut reliefs, her memories of the study of painting, which formed her substantially. In addition, there is a strenuous, bleak presence of monotonous cashier work in a supermarket, for which it has resorted to pragmatic reasons. The suggestive make -up of these two contrasting worlds offers an unusual perspective that is not just a dive into the internal struggle of the novel protagonist. The bolt of the work is almost a detective plot revealing a passion with which it is possible to sneak into art. The author asks the essential questions of the purity of creation and human relations. Her story is not a report of escaping, but rather a successful confrontation with the boundaries of relationships and self -expression. He describes man as a fragile creature who inevitably encounters the glass of globalized civilization, his own loneliness and fate. It can be recognized, understanding, accepting, but not already easily changed.
