Even our grandmothers liked to grow indoor plants, they used to be common in every household. Greenery brings energy, freshness and joy of life to the apartment. If we give them basic care, we can treat ourselves to those that would not survive outside in our harsher climate. Some can even go to the garden in the summer, but we prefer to leave others at home.
The book presents the best-known and most durable ones, which can withstand even less careful handling. Contains descriptions and advice for growing them. The pictures come from old herbariums, where the plants are vividly depicted and are supplemented with collages by Klára Trnková.
