In the poems and song texts of Josef Fousko from 1969–2021, hope and melancholy are mixed - just like in the river of life. The path of the non-party self-educated, tramp or rather bohemian was a tortuous one, and the work of the popular author is also a response to the colorful and often disease-affected life on the periphery of society. The committee contains famous texts set to music and sung by, for example, Petr Spálený, Eva Pilarová or Miluška Voborníková, as well as lesser-known verses.
The book is supplemented with black and white photographs from the author's workshop.
