The author belongs to the generation that came of age in the era of real socialism, when compulsory military service still applied, and is based on his own experiences in the first-line unit. The concept of "war" has long since disappeared from the consciousness of young men, and often they do not have the slightest idea about it. However, for those who experienced it, it remains in the memories with everything it brought with it. Whether it was a grudge war, a racket, bullying, booing, ideological brainwashing, an imperialist threat or extraordinary events. She also left positive traces, as she taught renunciation, a sense of order, independence in decision-making and respect for decent people.
