The novel The Bases of the Worn is one of the most dramatic prose of Vlasta Javořická. It depicts the fate of the peasant family of the Czech -Moravian Highlands, its matches, relationship to land, loss, humiliation, emotional and love relationships. And of course the fate of other characters. The novel has only been published only once, more than ten years ago, is not available today and numerous readers sought.
