In 2049, humanity faces the threat of extinction. The last hope is a generation of genetically modified children whose upbringing is to take care of carefully programmed robots. Kai is one of these children and his only guide to devastated America is his robotic mother Rho-Z. But when it begins to grow up, Rho-Z also changes-in a way that no one expected.
