The completely originally designed textbook is intended for schools, courses and self-taught students. A systematic and detailed explanation of the Latin vocabulary, the basics of vocabulary,
extensive study and practice material, graphically differentiated into the study minimum and expanding teaching, enable the use of the textbook for the basic Latin course as well as for more demanding types of teaching. The advantage of the textbook is that it presents the connection of the original Latin words with living words or phrases in contemporary Czech. The text is enlivened by photographs of some works of art and humorous illustrations by Pavel Rak on the theme of ancient fables. Both parts have an approval clause of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Czech Republic.
