By a coincidence of suggestive determining circumstances and in the paradox of history, Shabbat as a nineteen-year-old young man wrote a recommendation to the seventeen-year-old Milan Kundera to join the party. By another miraculous coincidence, Petr Prouza spent several weeks as a patient in the Na Bulovce hospital, on the fifth floor of the clinic, in exactly the same room from where Bohumil Hrabal, with whom he knew well and shared an interesting journey through Yugoslavia, left for eternity.
