The textbook is intended for everyone who has mastered the basics of French. In the introductory lesson, the most basic phenomena are repeated, in the following lessons others are gradually reminded. At the same time, phenomena that the student knows from any textbook for beginners are discussed in greater depth (studying according to French for self-taught students is therefore not a condition). Each lesson of this textbook contains an introductory text and from it exercises are based on selected difficult phenomena of French grammar, to deepen or expand knowledge about them, various thematic areas are discussed and attention is also paid to articles from the press. The textbook also contains several-line jokes, cooking recipes, proverbs, sayings or song lyrics and is supplemented with illustrations. The author places emphasis on the most authentic spoken French and introduces the user to marginal forms of the language, such as verlan.
The textbook includes a key to the exercises, a detailed index and a French-Czech dictionary. Two audio CDs are included in the textbook, on which native speakers have recorded the introductory texts and dialogues of the lessons and selected exercises.
