In the free continuation of the book Wonderful Years under the Dog, we meet Kvid and his rather unusual family again, but this time in the post-revolutionary era. Quido divorces after twelve years and enjoys the free life of a freelance writer. He often visits his grandparents and brother Pac in Sázava. Due to coupon privatization, grandfather is a boundless admirer of Václav Klaus, but the rest of the family is a thorn in the side of the politician, so meetings are rarely without arguments and backbiting. At the beginning of each chapter of this slightly biographical and melancholic grotesque, the author quotes Narovin from Klaus's book in order to gradually reveal the absurdity of his words and the time itself through his characters.
