In the previous book Mosad, Michael Bar Zohar and Nisim Mišal dealt with the most famous operations of the Israeli secret service, and excitedly described the dangerous actions of its members who were willing to risk their lives in the interest of their country.
This book follows the activities of Mosad and focuses on the thirty most daring military missions of Israeli special units. He pursues the most important battles, the marauding actions deep in the enemy territory and the tasks of special commandos, and on that occasion reveals the fears and hopes of the highest commanders and ordinary soldiers. The authors focus on operations that have managed, but do not interact even those that ended in failure. The reader also becomes acquainted with the private and professional lives of the most important personalities of Israeli life: Moša Dajan, Ariel Šaron, the Netanyahu brothers, Ehud Barak and Avigdor Kahalani. For example, we can watch Ariel Šaron's military career since 1948, when in the battle of Latrun almost lost his life, after crossing the Suez Canal in 1973. Ehud Barak will introduce us at a bold action in Beirut (1973), which commanded in women's disguise, and and Then we will meet him again in 1999, when he was elected prime minister. Each chapter is followed by an excerpt from an interview with the main character of the relevant operation - in some cases they are prominent players on the Israeli political scene. Many photos that accompany the text have not been published anywhere.
