What are human rights? What are their historical roots? And what do they mean for man in the 21st century?
Fourteen Czech writers and writers were inspired by reading the General Declaration of Human Rights and gave rise to an original collection of thirty stories that reflect all thirty articles of this key document of the 20th century in a distinctive way. The stories are followed by a brief reflection on the future not only of human rights. The variety of texts is complemented by the creation of thirty -one illustrators and illustrators who accompany each text.

In addition, the Declaration project includes a set of interviews (podcasts) with philosopher Daniel Kroupa, which offers readers a deeper insight into human rights issues. Tomáš Sedláček and Klára Laurenčíková also intend to consider in the final debate with him over the future of human rights. The book brings (not only adults) the opportunity to look at the general declaration of human rights from different perspectives and at the same time leads to reflection on what human rights mean to ourselves.
