The book Lords of Pernštejn is the first comprehensive publication serving a picture of one of the oldest domestic noble families, which throughout its historically recorded existence has taken a significant position and the history of our countries significantly influenced from the Middle Ages to its extinction during the Thirty Years' War. Members of the noble family, who wore a symbol of the bison head on their gable, gained extraordinary power in the first half of the 16th century and represented the richest family in Bohemia.
