The fates of families living in the Osoblaž promontory, whose daily commute to work in cities and places to the east is a typical feature of the residents who live here. Nevertheless, they form the basis of the families that work here and live out their destinies. To Zamazal, Jander from Osoblaha, the Řeháčk family or the Rannsdorf family from nearby Krnov, they all set the sometimes delicious, sometimes bleak tone of coexistence.
The territory beckons romantic wanderers, technically and economically oriented. It beckons with an undiscovered ability to blossom into an area with apple orchards, the production of bulls for export, fattening fields and employment in cattle and poultry farms with white curtains. At the same time, the wanderer realizes that such an area will always be a source of labor in nearby cities, where there are centers of science and culture, industry and schools, and where people will commute for work, knowledge, entertainment and culture. Always. At the same time, no one will turn their nose up at the "push", because there will be enough opportunities to live the life you choose.
The fate of residents of different educations, ethnicities, for various reasons rushed to the Osoblaž promontory, and they live here and weave their destinies with each other, just like in other parts of the republic. This is what this book is about.
