The original chef Michal Hugo Hromas prepares all the dishes on the fire, whether on the grill, in a cauldron or tagine, or using other techniques. In his first author's cookbook, Oheň a dým (Oheň a dým), he introduces the reader to the secrets of starting a fire, to the individual techniques of cooking on fire, to the equipment he uses, which he affectionately calls "my tin circus". He prepares not only decent pieces of meat, but also excellent vegetable dishes, bakes bread and even desserts on the fire. Cooking on an outdoor fire is the latest trend in world gastronomy, and Michal Hromas is one of the leading masters of this style. A large, beautiful, graphically original cookbook, from which fire blazes and smoke rises from the first page, also belongs to the category of "coffee table" cookbooks, i.e. cookbooks from which you will not only cook, but also read in them and look at them with pleasure.
