No one is more dangerous than a person who has nothing to lose... Experienced war correspondent John Bailey, after returning from the Middle East, where he spent ten months in captivity, is drinking life alone. Few would look for him in the murder of a young prostitute in a rowdy neighborhood of Sydney - such news appear in the tabloids every day.
