Chronicle of my life

The name of Josef Lady is associated with a number of figures and characters, picturesque images of the Czech countryside, Christmas poetry, but also original humor, which was perhaps most reflected in the artistic rendering of The Fates of the Good Soldier Švejk. In Chronicle of my life, the author returns to his childhood in his native Hrusice and with humility and a light smile on his face leads the reader step by step along the paths of his fruitful life.
