The book will present traditional Czech customs and customs of our ancestors throughout the year. Natural events often did not understand and explained them to the favor or anger of various supernatural beings, elves, boys and ghosts. They believed in good and evil powers and tried to prevent evil and lean well. Celebrations and holidays used to be a divide and also a variegation of a difficult life full of work. With the advent of Christianity, the Church tried to eradicate pagan customs and replace their own holidays. However, they could not be changed so easily, and such a wonderful mixture of folk customs, myths and Christian holidays, some of which remain today.
